In this poetry collection, Julie L. Corbett explores the River Humber and its surroundings as only a native can. Her intimate knowledge of the river and its communities—both natural and human—give readers an inside glimpse of details beyond the bridge: The North Sea, cliff tops, pavements, and kitchens. Corbett describes these diverse locales through the eyes of a traveller—a traveller exploring an uncharted wilderness called home.
